I'm leaving for China on Sun!
Pastor Kong taught about FOCUS last Sun. It was a reminder in time to get me back. I'm trying all that I can to get my focus back. Am I too late? I hope not.
What am I busy with? Why am I busy with such things? Are there other more important things that I could have paid more attention to? Am I busy with the right things? I can't help but feel a sense of heaviness within me. I'm burdened by the state of my flock.
I'm leaving for China this Sun and will be coming back next Sun. Most people who knew that I'm accompanying the pupils to China couldn't understand why I wanted to volunteer myself. To them, it means more work. I chose to think that it's gonna be fun and enriching for me. However, when I look at my CG now, I wonder if I had made the right decision to agree to go.
Perhaps it's a great opportunity for the more mature members in my CG to rise up and take ownership of the CG. I really pray and hope that my CG will pick up its momentum again. Right now, I can only pray and trust God that all things works well for good for those who love God, for those who are the called according to His purpose.
It's coming to the end of the year and I really hope we'll all end with no regrets for 2005 and march on to 2006 with expectancy.

Lots of things to thank God for...
On 27th Aug, I had a breakthrough atmosphere in CGM! We had such great joy praising God together. Everything was so great! God's presence was so tangible.
On 28th Aug, it's First Fruits Weekend! I was so proud of my CG for raising up so much money for the First Fruit alone. It was a victorious day! God may not be early, but He is never late! After service, I received a call from the tuition agent and I got a tuition assignment! It pays me $35/hr. I will then be able to pay for my building fund without having to worry where to get the money from. This is a fulfillment of God being our Provider!! He always provides. All I need to do is to trust in Him. He is such a faithful God!
On 30th Aug, Pastor Zhuang prayed for me and a few others to be CGLs officially. After 8 months, finally I've fulfilled my dream. There's still a long way to go. This is just the beginning of another exciting journey! I'm so thankful to Pastor for giving me a chance to serve God in the CG ministry. Thank Huiling for teaching me and raising me up. Thank Bro Duncan and Cyn for teaching me and taking care of me all these while. Thank all WYZ leaders for making me feel at home.
On 31st Aug, it's teachers day celebration. I had fun in school. We played a simple game and we won. ACES DAY was a success! At night, the dinner was fun and enjoyable. My entire table RA-RA the whole night. We cheered for ourselves, our teachers who received long service awards and scholarship. We made lots of noise. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was tiring yet fun! We did a cheer that was so good that everyone was so impressed! Haha! Even we ourselves were impressed by our daringness. :D
On 1st Sept, I went out with my DEAR. Surprisingly, she gave me a very very nice cushion which I mentioned I liked a lot. The cushion wrote "STAR AWARD to the World's Best Teacher". I saw it at Bugis while shopping the other day and mentioned to her through sms that it's very nice but I couldn't possibly buy it for myself. She actually took the effort to go down and get it for me!!! That's not all, she gave a nice yellow notebook for my promotion. Thanks DEAR!!! I love you lots!!
On 3rd Sept, it was another great CGM. Though it wasn't as good as the previous time. God's presence is still so tangible. We had a long but enjoyable time doing little tickets for Youth Edition for our friends. We were satisfied with the end product.
On 4th Sept, on the way to church, I sms Andrew to tell him that I'll be taking the CG from now onwards. He was so fast. Immediately, he got my Wen to do a card for me. Got Francis and Terry Ah Di to go BISHAN to buy me a T-shirt that reads, "Follow the Leader". I'm so touched!! They went to BISHAN!! They were at Boon Lay but they rushed to Bishan to get it for me! What more can I say? I feel so loved. Since Andrew wasn't around because he was in camp, nobody knew what's happening, what's the card and the gift for. So it was a hilarious time. Francis wanna present me with the gift, so he said, "Do you all know what day it is this coming Thursday?" We were all puzzled. Then he said it's my birthday. I almost fall from where I was standing. He said it's advanced birthday gift. Then I told him it's a little way too early right? Haha... it was a funny time. Anyway, I really love it! Love all of them! Thanks Andrew, Francis, Terry Di and Wen!!
After this, I had a meeting with Bro Duncan. Then I went for Youth Edition meeting, then went for MUSO prac for Youth Edition. We finished at about 9pm I think. I was surprised that Terry Di was still around waiting for me!!! I'm so so so touched!! I feel so blessed to have such a great Ah Di in my CG. We went for dinner together with Cyn and her members then we left at 11pm.
Another "exciting" thing happened. While I was in the train with Claire at Dover, as the train door was about to close, a guy snatched my hp and ran out of the train. Both Claire and I were so shocked! Too shocked to do anything. 2 kind souls ran out to chase after the guy. The only thing I can think of was to press the emergency button. The whole train stopped. Thank God the kind souls got my hp back but the guy had ran away scot free. After this event, all the more I want to thank God. All the more I feel so loved by God. Indeed, all things works well for good, for those who love God, for those who are the called according to His purpose. Claire told me what Cyn told her the other time when God protected her belongings, it's all because we tithed! Amen! God has rebuked the devourers for our sake!
MY GOD IS AN AMAZING GOD! I CAN'T THANK HIM ENOUGH AND I CAN'T LOVE HIM ENOUGH! FATHER I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY!!!

Please pray for Edwin!

This is Edwin. He is my P1 pupil. He is going for a heart and leg operation this Fri. I don't really know what's wrong with him. He only mentioned that his arteries in his heart has got a problem. He was rather scared. But I assured him that I'll be praying for him.

1. Pray for the operation to be a successful one and that he will recover fast.
2. Pray for God's peace to be with him that he don't have to be afraid.
3. Pray that he will be as cheerful as before and will be able to enjoy all physical activities after his operation.
God hears and answers all our prayers! Thanks for all your prayers!

Riding on God's grace!
I felt refreshed after preparing. It was about 3pm when I'm done with everything and went back to school.
Overnight prayer meeting was cancelled because pastor wants us to rest due to our effort in FOP and 16th anniversary. So in the end, I went for my National Day Dinner and then went back home to rest. Finally, I managed to have some decent sleep. I woke up at 8plus and started to pray and read through my sermon again. I wanted so much for God to move in the CGM.
So it was Sat. We started our CGM late but everything was great. The atmosphere was good and I could really sense the presence of God in our midst as we worshiped Him. As I was preaching, at certain points, I could feel His presence so tangible. I was touched by His Word even as I preached. I realised I enjoyed what I'm preaching. This is the 1st time that I ever felt this way. I guess this is how it feels when I'm riding on His grace and the Holy Spirit's leading. At the end of the message, we sang the song, "My 1st Love is Jesus." Everytime we sang the name of Jesus, I was so touched by His presence.
I thank God for a breakthrough in my own spiritual life and also a breakthrough in CGM atmosphere. Bro Duncan said this was so far the best CGM I'd ever led and this will be my point of reference. I was so glad to hear that he enjoyed my preaching. So encouraged by God and what He has done for me. Indeed, it is when I am weak that I can be made strong in Him. Thank God for His goodness and grace all these years that I've known Him. I love Him more than ever before. I love You, Jesus!
My 1st love is Jesus
You're the One I adore
My 1st love is Jesus
You're the One that I'm living for
My 1st joy is Jesus
You're the strength of my life
My 1st joy is my Master
For You holds the key to my life
Jesus, Lord Jesus
Lord Jesus, You're my 1st love
How I love You
Oh how I love You
Jesus, Lord Jesus
Lord Jesus, You're my 1st love
How I love You
Oh how I love You Lord.

A Sense of Satisfaction!
Every year, every school will have the ACES Day on Teachers' Day Celebration. ACES --> All Children Exercise Simultaneously. So for the past 2 years, I was put in charge to do something about it. This year, I wasn't in charge, but I handled some of the things and I loved the dances!! I loved it so much more than the previous years'. To cut the long story short, we need to come out with something easier for the P1 and P2 pupils. So today, I took out my Fan Xiao Xuan CD and played the Jian Kang Ge for some of my colleagues to hear. Within a few minutes, we came up with the steps and movements. And the movements were so funny that we laughed non stop. At first, I was rather hesitant to carry out this dance. Then, upon everyone's consensus, we decided to go ahead. Can you imagine, we only learnt for 15 min and we decided to teach the whole of P1 and P2! So I jio all my khakis to bring their class down during my PE periods and began to teach the different classes, with the help of another friend. It was super hilarious and the kids really love the dance and enjoyed themselves so much! I taught the dance for 2hrs 30min straight, was tired but still enjoyed myself.
It was such a great joy to see the smiles on the kids' faces and many of them were singing and dancing at the same time. At the end of the day, when I was doing duty at the gate, many kids whom I do not know, came up to me and say goodbye to me. 1 walked up to me and said that the dance was very funny. Another came and said that it was very fun. At these point, no amount of tiredness can take away the joy that wells up within me. The sense of satisfaction overwhelms me once again.
Thank God for bringing back the passion of teaching. I love the kids and I love teaching PE. Tomorrow, I've set my heart to teach my pupils how to sing the song, so that everyone can enjoy the fullness of dancing and singing!!!

God's grace is sufficient!
Amazingly, my relationship with the office staffs seemed to have become better as the days go by. I remember I used to dislike the way they handle things. I guess as the days go by, we began to understand each other's difficulties. And because of this understanding, I don't blame the way they do things and they don't blame me for things as well. In fact, sometimes I'll emphatize with them and vice versa. Really thank God for this favor everywhere I go. It is not by the efforts of men, but really it is the grace of God that is upon my life. Thank You, Father! Indeed, Your grace is sufficient for me!

Thank God for His grace!
24hrs Fasting: Made me realised that I don't have enough fats to burn. I couldn't sleep at night and was so cold even when my windows were shut, no fans was on, I still covered myself with a blanket. At 6 in the morning, my body was shaking and trembling as I hopped out of bed to go for a shower. I felt weak. After eating, I rested a while and went to school to teach. Really thank God for bringing me through this. I thought I couldn't make it to school, but in the end I did. In fact, I got more and more energetic as I got to school. So God is good! We'll never know we can do it until we take the 1st step to try.
Overnight Prayer Meeting: I was very very touched to see the whole auditorium filled with people. It means that we have a large group of people who carries the vision of God and of CHC, who are willing to spend time to pray together. While everyone was sleeping soundly at home, there we were praying for our church. More than 1000 people stayed till 5a.m. in the morning! Where else can you find such passionate people? The Word of God says, "The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." We don't just have one man, we have more than 1000 men! And we gonna stand together for the next few weeks as well!!
So last Fri after the overnight prayer meeting, I reached home at about 7a.m. and slept till 10+a.m. Went to school for my MOE EXCEL FEST funfair duty and then went straight for 2 CGs. Honestly speaking, if I say I wasn't tired, I would be lying. I was tired in my mind. Forgot to get off the bus, walked the wrong directions etc. However, His grace got me through the entire day. Thank God for His presence during the CGM. It was the 1st time that Bro Duncan wasn't around. Really grace grace!
So it's gonna be Wed tomorrow!!! Yeah! Fasting, here I come! Fri overnight prayer meeting, here I come! His grace is always sufficient for me!!

I LOVE YOU!
Anyway, I believe this is the season that everyone of us MUST pray and keep praying. I can't stress more than this. Cover everyone with lots of prayers everyday! Let's be diligent this season!
I am very touched at what God is doing in my life. I can't help but feel blessed. Seeing my relationship with my CG members growing closer and closer, I am very encouraged. I'm very very very touched when my gal speaks my language of love. In fact, I was rather surprised to see her sms me "I love you". It's not about being mushy or something is wrong in this kind of friendship. It's pure love and care for our brothers and sisters in Christ. The world may not understand this kind of love and they are looking for love in the wrong places. The only love that can satisfy everyone is the love of God. When we have the love of God, we'll be so glad to share that love with our friends and dear ones. I'm so thankful that I have someone in the CG whom I can share things with, understands me and speaks my language. And God is causing me to love my CG members even more each day. I love them!
To end this entry, I just want to say that I LOVE ALL OF YOU who have blessed my life all these while! The fact that you are reading this tells me that you are my friend and you care. Everyone plays a part in my life, in little or great way. Without you, a part will be missing. Never feel that you are not important or not loved because your name did not appear in my entry. I STILL LOVE YOU!

Emotions..
In 2 weeks, I realised I love my pupils, my dear and some of my cg members a lot. Brought the TAF pupils out in the 1st week of holidays. I couldn't help but love them and was very proud of them. We'd completed a more than 10km walk for the day and they did not really complained about it. Instead, one gal was extremely sweet to walk up to me to thank me. My last yr's "heartache" even offered to help me carry things. I was so touched by their actions. Indeed, this is all I want to hear from them. All the hard work is worthwhile. It is worth the price. Similarly, to God, it is worthwhile for Jesus to die on the cross for us, in order that we can know Him and be saved. It will make it even more worthwhile, if we love Him much much more and are willing to go all out for Him.
Spent 2 days with my dear and I realised I really love her a lot. I couldn't bear to leave her alone and it hurts me to see her sad. It hurts me when I think that she deserves so much more than what she has now. I wanted to bless her as much as I can. I guess this is what true and pure love is all about. It's about giving. Thank God she has other friends who care as much for her as well. They had been giving and spending time with her also. Thank God for them.
Had a great fellowship time with my cg members after service on Sun. Actually, we just went shopping. Thank God for the time of bonding. I remembered when I 1st came into the CG. I had a strong feeling that I need to get the sisters close to me. However, I find it quite hard for me to enter into the life of one of them. We seldom spend time together because either she had to leave early or I had to leave early. Last Sun was a great opportunity that we could shop together and share things along the way. I thanked her for her sincere hug during Tuesday's Emerge conference. Really thank God for helping us to breakthrough in our relationship.
If you have been reading my blog from the very beginning, you would have known that I love hugs. All my life, only my dear has been giving me the warmest and most sincere hugs. It doesn't mean that when others hug me they are not sincere. Just that many times I can feel "shyness" in those hugs. When we withhold something, our hugs will not be complete. (Haha! I sounded like I'm very professional in hugs) Well, I really do care alot about hugs. Many times I don't really need much. Just a sincere and warm hug will do. My beloved gal gave me a warm and sincere hug on Tuesday. That hug was so wonderful because I could sense the love of God from it. Finally, I found someone besides my dear who hugs without withholding back anything. Thank God for her because that hug gave me comfort on that day.
Lots of things happened within my CG too. It wasn't something very significant or terrible. However, I was rather disappointed in many things. I was angry most of the times. I realised I get angry very easily recently. Is my expectations of people too high? Am I expecting too much from my members? It hurts me to know that sometimes they are not hungry for God. They are not focusing on things that are more important. I couldn't just leave them alone and let them be like this. I love them too much to see them remain the same. I just need to talk to them with love and cover them with lots of prayers. I remember this year's theme for me is LOVE. I just got to love, love and love people more. Thank God for His wondrous love!

Empty myself and be filled with the Holy Spirit!
Went for the 2nd night of the conference and heard this from God. I realised I'd been crying non-stop everytime I start to worship God in church and even during CG meetings. Tears just flow so freely out of me. Yes I'm touched. But it's a different kind of feelings. I felt burdened. At 1st I thought I was burdened about my CG. Then I realised I was burdened about myself. As I worshiped Him on Wednesday at the end of the message, tears flow out again. I asked myself, "Why am I crying so much?" Then I heard God answered me, "Empty yourself and be filled with the Holy Spirit. If you don't do that, you rob My people of My blessings."
I have to empty myself of all my pride, fears and everything, so that the Holy Spirit can fill me and empower me to do things that I can't do by my own strength. I loved what Huiling told me when I shared this with her: "There won't be impartation from your Spirit to whoever you want to minister to when you are yet to be emptied out. So, be freed!" Wow! How true! I went back and had a great fellowship with God. Felt so much better after worshiping Him.
Last night, it was a totally different feeling. I was so touched by what God is doing through Pastor Kong, Pastor Sun and the church. People in the world only see the glamorous side of their lives and the church. They've never seen the hard times that we go through together as a church. We are tried and tested so many times by the outside world. I am so thankful that I am PLANTED in City Harvest Church. This is a place that God has called me to serve and love Him in. I'm rooted in this House of God. It's such an awesome place.
While Pastor Phil was praying for Pastor Kong and Pastor Sun, I heard God told me to listen and receive it in my Spirit too. Whatever that is prayed for, is meant for me too. I am "mentioned" in that prayer too! I am among the thousands of women that Pastor Sun is going to raise up to do God's work! No words can express the thankfulness that I have for God who has given me the privilege to serve and grow together with the leadership in City Harvest! What an exciting time that we are living in.
I want to grow closer and closer to Him and be commited to the people that He has placed in my life to bless and uphold. I LOVE YOU, ABBA FATHER!
I'm here for a reason...
Thank God for sending Dr Rev Phil Pringle to bring a Word that is so in season for many of us. I can really sense the spiritual atmosphere in City Harvest going up to the next level. We are no longer young Christians drinking milk in the kingdom of God. We are now MATURE Christians who should eat meat and enjoy those things which are harder to understand.
These 3 days conference are built on the foundation of Titus 1:5.
"For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you."
God left us wherever we are for a reason. I always believe in that. Whatever that we go through, there's a purpose. Can we fulfill the purpose that God has placed in our lives? Can we make full use of our time HERE to fulfill it, that we don't have to have regrets or take longer than intended? God is definitely looking for our attitude when we face problems in life. The level of our complains is the level of our capacity. Do we have the capacity to do greater things for Him? Do we keep complaining when we have problems or do we face problems with a great attitude. He is concern in our availability and not our abilities. Many times I feel bad about myself. Why can't I express myself better than my friends? I can't encourage people as well as they do. I can't seem to relate better than them. But God is saying that He is not looking at my ability. All He wants is my willingness and availability to offer my services to Him. It is not about squeezing God all the way up to the TOP of the list of all the things that I love. It is about worshiping and serving Him alone. Did I "worship" my ministry, work, hobbies also? Yes! God is 1st. But it's more than being 1st. He has to be the ONLY ONE.
Pastor Phil said something so true and revelational. People always struggle to be fruitful. I'd always asked God, "I've been a Christian for about 5 years, brought many to church, but none of my fruits remains. I want to be fruitful but how?" Look at a tree. Does an apple tree struggle to bear apples? No! The apples just grow on their own. All the tree does is to go all the way to get water and sunlight! When the tree can't get enough water or sunlight, it will die. Water and sunlight represent the Word of God and worship. All I need to do is to worship God and read His Word and I will bear fruits automatically. My focus should be on God and nothing else. Fruitfulness will follow after a great relationship with God.
God left me in KHS for a reason. I'm supposed to open the heaven above people around me. We should not be waiting for people to come to church, but we bring the church to them. When we, Christians step in, the room should light up. The whole of Singapore should come to know God. We can reach the entire nation if everyone of us do our part in opening the heaven above people who are around us. God is reminding me of starting a Bible Study group in school. I had this thought earlier this year but it didn't come to pass. I'm thinking of starting a CG meeting for teachers in school! I'm not sure how feasible it'll be. Will discuss with my prayer group today when we meet. Thank God for putting this in my heart.
I thank God for putting me in City Harvest Church. A place so filled with destiny and passion for the lost. So thankful that I can be part of the team that take Asia by storm. I truly believe we can make a difference.

I'm not God's plan A...
On the same day, I went for an overnight prayer meeting. Wow! The presence of God was so tangible. I didn't know why, but I just felt so burdened in my heart and I cried and couldn't stop crying. Thank God for releasing the burden in my heart after all the worshiping and praying.
Thank God for His word during service yesterday. It's not the 1st time that I heard Pastor Kong shared that he wasn't God's Plan A but God made him, a Plan B, into a Plan A. I'd heard it so many times. However, yesterday when Pastor Kong said it again, it struck a chord within me. Somehow the Holy Spirit reminded me that I wasn't God's Plan A too. I came to where I am because I was faithful in what He has put me to do in the past. I was so thankful when I realised that and I couldn't help but thank God for all that He has done for me all these while. He brought me back to where I 1st started of as a new believer. Someone who didn't even know how it feels to be in the presence of God even after 2 years in church, has finally come to a place where she cries buckets in the presence of God. What can I do without Him? Where will I be if not for His love?
The Word of God says, "Many are called, but few are chosen." I want to be the chosen one. I want to do all that He has called and chosen me to do. Although there are certain areas that I'm still not good in, I believe God will train me up to be the person He wants me to be. I have to be obedient, teachable and accountable for my actions. When Pastor shared that God offered Solomon a "blank" cheque that says, "Ask! What shall I give you?", how I hope I'll hear that from my heavenly Father too. God will only give such a great offer to people who are disciplined and trained. In my heart, I "shouted" that I want to be trained and disciplined! I want to abide in Him so that whatever I ask shall be given to me. I want God's wisdom to teach me to help my CG to grow. To help the members in the problems. I want my CG to multiply, that indeed we are making disciples and His name be glorified. I don't want nominal Christians in my CG. I want true disciples who are willing to go the extra mile for God. Disciples who will eventually become disciplers of God. I truly believe God is raising up a new generation of believers who will take Asia by storm. I really pray for everyone to catch the vision of the church and take ownership of the church, to build ourselves up spiritually for the work of God. I'm not just a person who goes to church just to enjoy the blessings of God. I'm a servant of God! I'm a minister in God's kingdom!! I go to church to bless and be blessed!
"Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put in your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." -Luke 6:38-
AMEN!

I need prayers...
This week I just started my special TAF programme for the SEVERLY OVERWEIGHT. It starts early in the morning from 6.55a.m. to 7.20a.m. Used to wake up at 7a.m. to come for 8a.m. lessons.. Now I got to get use to waking even earlier to exercise with the kids. As much as possible, I'll like to exercise with them to motivate them. So started to eat breakfast every morning after the exercise. Hope to have a healthier lifestyle.
This TAF programme is sapping all my energy. The school also decided to split the pupils for recess. So instead of 3 teachers, I need to have 4 teachers everyday. When I can't fit a teacher in, I got to do it myself. When the teachers are sick, it's ME on duty again. So, don't be surprise if you see me getting thinner. I want to make sure that I don't fall sick because of all these excess activities.
SO MY DEAR FRIENDS PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS EVERYDAY. THANKS!!

Easter is coming!
I'm very excited because it's going to be Easter Day again! 2005 years ago, Jesus died on the cross for all of us so that we can be saved, healed and get back to have a relationship with God. It was a sad time to know that the Son of God had died for our sakes. However, He is risen! We serve a living God! 3 days after Jesus was crucified, He resurrected!! Hereby now, we can all celebrate the resurrection of our wonderful Saviour and Lord!
This coming Friday, GOOD FRIDAY, my sub zone is having an outing! We are going to play a treasure hunt game called, "NOT HERE, NOT THERE, THEN WHERE LEH?!" By hearing this title alone makes me so excited to play the game. It'll be from 11a.m. to 3p.m. And we'll be playing at Orchard! If you are free, PLEASE join us!!!
Of course, not forgetting our annual Easter production that never fails to make me tear. There'll be 3 services on Sat and Sun. Below will be the details. Please come and experience what God has done for us 2005 years ago. Give me a call or leave a TAG at my tagboard if you are interested to join me! Looking forward to hear from you!

I am BLESSED!!!
Friday (1st service): The choir didn't sing and flow well. We didn't know a lot of songs and we were not sure of the flow of Pastor Benny and our "conductor", Pastor James. Nearing the end of the service, Pastor Benny asked the choir if we want the anointing of God. We shouted "yes" loudly. He got us to hold our hands together, then he prayed and we all fell under the power of God. This was the 1st time that I felt such a strong power that hit me and caused me to fall. I was so overwhelmed. It wasn't the pull from those beside me that caused me to fall. All I could remember is, I felt a strong jerk and I sort of "flew" backwards. I hit my head, back and my bums against the chair. My 1st thought was, "God, I feel very painful." Immediately, I started to weep. Not because I was in pain, but I just weep. It was a very wonderful and refreshing experience. When I stood up again soon after, all the pain were gone. I left the place feeling so blessed, refreshed and overwhelmed!
Saturday (2nd service): I'm supposed to bring my mum for service. She finds it a hassle having to queue up so early and decided not to go. So I decided to serve in the choir again. This time, we were more sure of the songs. I enjoyed myself singing all the hymms. I never knew hymns were so nice. There's joy in the air as we sing, "Nothing is impossible" and "Lord You are good and Your mercy endures for ever". Pastor preached about the presence and glory of God. Nearing the end of the service, Pastor Benny begin to start praying for the congregation, section by section. Once again, I was overwhelmed to see a whole section of people falling under the power of God. Then lastly, he prayed for the choir again. This time we didn't hold our hands. I fell and hit my bum on the drink holder. Once again, I weeped. Every time he prayed for us, he is imparting his anointing unto us to sing better the next service. That's how I feel. I was just so refreshed every time I stood up again.
(3rd service): After the 2nd service, most of us went outside to have our dinner. We have about 40 min. While on the way out, Attributes was playing a CD. Everyone just started singing to the song. Wow! That was when I really sense the passion of singing in the members. We went out, gave out the burgers to those who ordered. By the time we were done, some of us have only 5 min to eat. I didn't get to eat the burger which I ordered. Thank God for the packed rice that Bro Bryan bought for us. I gobbled down the food. It started to rain, so the few of us ran like mad into the stadium. We were rather wet by the time we got in. Settled down and went to meet my members. Enjoyed myself in praising and worshiping God again. Once again, he prayed for the choir before he left us. I just feel so super ultra blessed! Really thank God for the opportunity to serve Him. Indeed, it was like what Sis Belle said, it is important to sing and worship God. We witnessed how the power of God can move through our worship. So many people were miraculously healed. We don't just sing for the sake of singing or just because we love to sing. We sing because we are given the gift to sing unto Him. We sing to express our love for Him and to usher in His presence. We sing so that God can move through our singing. So sing oh barren! You'll never know when God will just move while you sing and worship Him.
And of course, since it's a healing crusade, how could I not testify of God's healing power on all the sick people? I was so touched whenever I saw the people coming unto stage to testify of God's healing in their body. Pastor Benny didn't pray for each individual ones to heal them. We just worship God and the healing took place just like that. A lot of people who were on wheelchair stood up and walked up to stage. There's a man who was wheeled in on a "bed" by 2 paramedics. He started to walk up to stage. The 2 paramedics were Muslims. They were so excited when they saw him standing up. They came up to the stage with him. They told us that the man was from ICU. So they were very shock and happy to see him standing up and walking all of a sudden. I prayed that by witnessing what God had done on this man, the 2 paramedics will be saved. I teared, knowing that God had purposely done this for all, regardless of races and religions, to witness and know that He is God, He loves us and He is our Healer.
It was a busy week. However, it was also a life changing week. I pray for all to experience God for themselves. Do not marvelled at what you hear from other people's experience. It can be your experience too. God is knocking at your door, will you answer His call?

Thank God for favor!
Anyway, I want to take the opportunity to thank God for the favor of men. I have to gather at SIS at 5pm on Fri. However, I end school only at 6.30pm. How? I don't want to be late because I'm one of the group leaders. I need to take their attendance and other stuffs. Thank God I have my Wed free. I thought and I asked my 2 "counsels" in school. Eventually, I decided to ask the teachers to help by swopping classes with me. To my surprise, all of them are very willing!! Really thank God for the favor. I've also informed my VP to get his official approval. It was a hard yes but it's approved!! So I'll be able to serve God and His people this Fri!! for my dear frens cum colleagues who read my blog, I need your favor as well not to spread this among the rest of the teachers because it isn't good to make these kind of changes because of personal affairs. However, since you have access to my blog, it goes to show that our relationship is quite close. I believe my dear frens will not spread this among the rest of the people. I'm known to have something urgent to attend to on that day. Thanks frens!
Now, I would like to also take the opportunity to extend the invitation to all those who read my blog. This coming Fri and Sat, 7.30pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, we have a Healing Crusade with world famous healing evangelist, Rev Benny Hinn. Experience the healing power of God and witness the lame walk and the blind see!!
Sun, 11am, also at the SIS, City Harvest Church is having a Sun combined service. So if you are free or interested to join me, please let me know. My number is 94318151. Hope to see lots of frens there!!! Be blessed!

We deserve a better life...
Life is exciting! We don't have to go through everyday in the same manner. Tired? Worn out? Stressed? Sad? Yeah! I don't deny I do go through such seasons. However, each time I got out of it, STRONGER.
Our life as a believer should be much more exciting than those who are in the world. We've got Jesus in us! The Holy Spirit speaks to us. How exciting it is to live a life that we can fellowship with God no matter where we are?
I was very much captivated by what Pastor Ulf preached on Sun 2pm service. He didn't really preached to us. He shared with us his experiences with God. Wow!! How I yearned to have that kind of relationship with our Father in heaven. I remember the times that I learned to obey Him to join the Dialect ministry and to be a teacher. I've learnt that many times, God knows what's the best for me even though I don't see it and I don't like it back then. I just have to trust in His leading. I was reminded of His goodness that follows when I made the decision to obey. So here I am, a teacher! I'm called to teach!
I'll also never forget how much I cried when I was called to join dialect and to teach. However, I've never regretted my decision. It's a part of my life story. He makes my life exciting. And I've learnt that we may all have an ultimate calling. Along the way to our calling, God will just call us to do other things. That's why I was in dialect. When it was the right timing, I got into what God wants me to do, to sing for Him. Now along the way, I'm called to do other things again. So life is not boring at all. I'm not a rigid "church-goer". I'm God's child!! I deserve the best in whatever I am doing. So are you! God created all of us to be His children. So you deserve the best too!
Let's grow deeper in God this year! Have an exciting walk with God that we will never forget.

I must be a SAILOR!!
I heard this illustration by Pastor Zhuang before, that everyone is rowing our boat towards a same destination. Let's not stop rowing because once we stop, the current will bring us backwards. I wouldn't want to move backwards while the rest of my friends move nearer and nearer to the destination. This illustration has kept me going on all these while.
Now, what is God saying? It's not good enough to row my boat. I MUST increase my capacity. It shouldn't remain as a boat but a ship. And I should not be "rowing" the ship by my own strength. I'm now a sailor following the leading of my Captain, the Holy Spirit.

Never think that you have reached..
- Friendship.
Well, I really thank God for all the friends that He had placed in my life. Although I may not have kept in contact with many of them, but they had written a chapter of my life story. From young, I never have any problems of making friends. It's so easy. However, it's hard to maintain a friendship. It needs commitment. I'm more committed to my friends now. Thank God that some of my friends are also committed to me.
I thank God that I was sitting next to my dear for this topic on friendship. It was such a heart warming time. One of the very few times that we get to sit together in a service. Every time we turned to tell each other that "You are my friend, I love you." It's all heart felt. There's such joy within me that I know our friendship is definitely eternal. Nothing that ever happens will ever cause our friendship to be broken. I talked to her online after I got back home and I told her our friendship is so pure and deep that there is no jealousy in it. I used to feel jealous when my friends go out with some other people and not me. Not that I don't feel it now, but lesser. My dear Eunice is the only one that I never have to feel jealous if she is with her CG or other best friends. I never have to worry that our friendship will be threatened just because I'm not her only BEST friend. Our friendship is secure! It is eternal! We'll only grow closer and never colder. Thanks dear for being my best friend. Thank God for giving me a chance to be your friend.
I LOVE YOU!!
"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed out; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." =1 Cor 13:4-8=
2. What makes a good missionary?
We are all called to be missionaries. There's no mistakes about it. I've heard so many messages on missions before. Every time I cried buckets. This time I teared less. Perhaps I'm already convicted in my heart that I am willing to go. I know this is not the right time yet. God is still preparing me in many ways. While I am still here in Singapore, I have to make my time here fruitful, doing all that I can for Him. I must prepare myself to be able to let go of comforts in life. Be willing to sacrifice and to throw away FEAR. I was praying, "God please help me to deal with my fears." Immediately, Rev. Kenneth Copeland came with the Word of God that says, "Do not be afraid!" Wow! I felt that God was speaking to me. Although I've learnt to lift up my worries into God's hand, I still struggle now and then with fear issues.
3. Humility
Behind every fear is pride. I'm concern of what others think of me, that's why I fear. But why should I be concern of what others think? It's because I don't want others to think bad about me. That's pride. So I must deal with my pride issue 1st to get rid of fears. Something caught my attention: "Never ever think that you've reached." Sometimes, I may think that I've done enough or even more than others. I thought I've reached. That's when pride comes in. I should never be satisfied of what I've done for God. I must always yearn for more of Him. Sometimes, I feel unjustified. I've done so much more than others and yet people don't recognised what I've done. Maybe they don't even appreciate what I've done. However, I've learnt that I don't need people to appreciate me. I don't need to be justified or defend myself. I just trust God to fight the case for me. God sees, God hears and God knows everything that is going on in my mind and life. All I need is Him. God is love.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." =1 John 4:18=
Remember my theme for the year? It's LOVE. God is really dealing a lot in my love for Him and His people.
"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." =1 John 4:8=

Bad things do happen to good people...
Happy Chinese New Year to everyone out there! Hope you had a great ang bao collection and a good time fellowshiping with your relatives. Well, for me, it was pretty much the same as previous years, just that I have 2 relatives who upgraded to ang bao givers!!! So I got 2 extra ang baos this year! Actually it's 5!! Haha! Praise the Lord!
Why is my title, bad things do happen to good people? Well, I was a little discouraged again. Had been paying my tithes and offerings faithfully. Sowing whenever I can. Yet, all of a sudden, things started to break down. 1st, my living room TV started to change color. I believe the color tube is spoilt. Then, Bro Merf's camera got to be spoiled in my hands. I felt so bad. Got to think of ways to pay him back. Just when I was about to finish paying for all my debts, another one got to join in the mess! When will I ever be free from debts?
It's time again to be strict on all my spendings. And I pray against the devourers to GO AWAY in JESUS' mighty name!!!
"And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," says the Lord of hosts.
--Mal 3:11--
My dear Eunice said, "Everything's alright! We've got Jesus with us!" Yes and Amen! God will make a way, where there seems to be no way...

Love, Consecration, Discipline, Perserverance..
I wanna say that I've finally finished putting down all my GOALS for 2005. Had been delaying it for so many weeks. So I felt that I didn't start my year right. However, it's better late than never, right?!! So I was pretty excited when I finished writing everything down yesterday. Thank God for a good rest yesterday.
This year will be a year of greater love, consecration, discipline and perserverance for me. I guess LOVE will encompass every component. With greater love for God, I will discipline my own body and consecrate myself for Him. With greater love for God, I will be able to go through the challenges and perservere!
Yeah! Shall not write too long because I'm tired. So long! Farewell!!

Someone stole my bike...
Now, there's no need to get a helmet. I lost my bike but thank God I didn't lose my life. Was rather sad and angry when I found my bike missing. How could anyone do that?! Who could be so desperate to steal my bike?! In my heart, I was thinking if I should curse that person. However, I know I can't do that. I just prayed for a miracle and thank God that without a bike now, I would be much safer. It seemed like a sign to prevent me from getting into an accident. After all, I only lost a bike. It just means I got to save up and get another one again, this time with a helmet. So now, lots of money will be spent on transport again. There goes my exercise plan for the moment...

I'm living under the grace of God!
If you read from my last entry, you would have known I have 6 hours of break everyday. However, I've been working 11 long hours everyday now. I didn't take my 6 hours break at all. I no longer have time to take a nap. I'd finished doing my Maths worksheet, now rushing to finish up my P3 PE Scheme of Work. And I have to finish planning TAF programme by Thursday so that I can brief all the teacehrs. Thus, I need all the results in!!! When can I have them in??!!
Anyway, I still thank God for He is good. I didn't break down this time like I did when I 1st started out in teaching. Thank God for His grace that has sustained me these past few days in work. However, I'll need lots of prayer from all those who love me. My heart is in pain again. This time round it's a different kind of pain as before. I couldn't stand straight because it's in so much pain. Thank God I was already home then.
I have another special request for those reading. If you have a job opportunity, please let me know. I have a cg member who needs a job. Thanks a lot.
Didn't intend to blog long, so I won't talk about my goals yet. Keep praying! Prayer works!

I'm bored!
Ok.. Guess I have to go! Will blog again in detail about my Resolutions and Goals when I have time!!
Cheers!
A short entry...
Woke up at 6.30am and rushed myself down to school. Had quite a boring 1st day of school. Went into the wrong class for 15 min then realised I should be in another class instead. Didn't had activities with them. I just set some ground rules with them and told them what I expect from them. This entire week will be boring because there will be lots of things to settle the kids down. I got to take their height and weight and get them into groups. Hmmm.. it's challenging to handle the P1s. It's my 1st time having P1 and P2 classes. I think I'm gonna have fun and you gonna read about them quite alot this year. They are so adorable and maybe sometimes unbearable. Hahaha! Kids are kids!
Alright! Guess I'll go off to do my quiet time. By the way, I'll soon blog about what God spoke to me about this exciting 2005. It will be a year full of.... (To know more, read again the next time)

It's a new yr it's a NEW VISION!
I went to surprise W140 on their Appreciation CG on the 30th Dec 2004. It was a day that I would never forget because that really marks the last time I'll be appearing in W140. I had my chance to say what I wanted to say to some of the people. Seeing a lot of them changed really touched my heart a lot. As usual, I cried. Why? I was just so emotional when I remembered the 1st time I saw each one, comparing with what I see now. God is so amazing! Everyone's changed by the grace of God. I can see God doing a deepening work in each individual's life. It was after I went home after Appreciation CG that I realised that I really love them a lot. I couldn't really get to sleep but I cried the whole night in prayer. W140, thanks for the wonderful memories that we had together. Thanks got writing a wonderful chapter in my life. You all meant a lot to me. Yes! I do believe our hearts are always together though we are not in the same CG anymore. Our friendship will last forever till eternity.
Went for my own Appreciation CG for W220 & W279 on the 31st Dec 2004. I was wondering how it'll be like for someone who had been in the CG for only 3 weeks. It was more light hearted and heart warming for me. They invited Sis Angie back to appreciate her for what she had done for the CG. Kelvin rewrote a song for both Cynthia and Sis Angie. The best was a book with all our messages for them. It was really very nicely done. Cynthia said it was the best gift ever. After that, we had an individual prayer walk to CCK Park and then we ate and play till 6plus in the morning. I thanked God for all He had done for me in 2004 and commited my 2005 into His hand and also asked for His directions for the new year.
After that I called my dear, Eunice, to wish her Happy New Year. Dear, I know you'll be reading. Just want to say that we've never spent any special day together all these while we know each other, although every other days we spent together are SPECIAL. Anyway, I'll book you on your birthday this year. It's on a Sat. Whatever it is, we must spend it together ok! Thanks for the Bible. I've started using it today and will keep reading it all the days of my life! It's a great blessing because it's the Word of God. I'm preparing myself for CHINA!!! Thanks Dear! I'm gonna finish reading the ENTIRE BIBLE this year! Amen!!
What is my NEW VISION for the new year? I don't have a very clear direction from God yet. Somehow, I just know that there's gonna be further breakthroughs in my own walk with God. There will be REVIVAL everywhere that I go! Every step that I take, I'm gonna glorify God and offer my worship for Him. I'll share more when I have gotten the WORD from Him.
By the way, I got my timetable for this year. Gonna work from 8am to 10am then from 4pm to 6.30pm every day. I can leave the school from 10am to 4pm. However, I doubt I'll be leaving. There will be lots of things to be done in school. I'm the TAF coordinator this year. Got to supervise on TAF every now and then to make sure everything is running properly. I asked my principal for one early day off and I pray that he'll keep his word to change for me. He even asked me which day I prefer. Which ever day it'll be, I thank God for the favor that I have with people.
2005, I'm ready and I'm coming!!!
